Storyline 360 Simulation
Overview: This simulation is a key component of an eLearning module focused on LinkedIn profile development, created in Rise 360 for learners enrolled in a cybersecurity bootcamp program. As part of an asynchronous, scaffolded, competency-based career development course, learners completed foundational training in personal branding and participated in hands-on learning activities prior to engaging with this module.
Assessment: To reinforce skill application, learners submitted their LinkedIn profiles through the LMS for asynchronous feedback supported by a custom evaluation rubric and structured coaching process.
Tools: Storyline 360
Considerations: Learners range in experience level from recent high school graduates to experienced professionals and struggle to market their newly developed technical skills, as well as their previous accomplishments.
Process: The broader career readiness program and supporting course experiences were developed using the ADDIE instructional design framework. Individual modules, simulations, and learning activities were then designed using the Understanding by Design (UbD) approach to ensure alignment between learning outcomes, assessments, and learner application.
My Role: I designed all module content, including learner personas, and custom-built a Storyline simulation. I also developed personalized feedback designed to support continued skill development and encourage ongoing resource utilization.
